China Private Equity Investment Holdings Limited (“CPE”) was set up with an intention to position itself to be a Chinese and Asian focused AIM listed private equity investment holding group. The company will be trying to identify suitable China’s private equity investment opportunities.
The Directors believe that CPE will be operating as an investment company with distinctive characteristics and advantages over typical small-cap listed companies by adopting:
1. a unique business development and investment model;
2. a deal sourcing structure through its anchor investment(s);
3. a knowledge driven model; and
4. effective exit strategies

As a vehicle to be listed on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange, the Directors believe that CPE would represent an attractive opportunity for European-based professional investors to gain an exposure in private equity investments in China, without the limitations imposed by traditional closed end private equity funds such as the lack of liquidity, transparency, or flexibility in structuring portfolio synergy and investment exits.
The investment approach of CPE is industry oriented where it focuses on Telecommunications / Media / Technology (“TMT”) and financial services. |
