Pinsent Masons advises China Private Equity Holdings Limited on fundraising and admission to AIM

International law firm Pinsent Masons has advised China Private Equity Investment Holdings Ltd ("CPE") on their US$5m fund raising and flotation on AIM.  First day dealings are expected 19 October 2009 with CPE expected to have a market capitalisation in the region of US$23m.

CPE has been created by an experienced management team chaired by Patrick Macdougall (formerly Executive Director of Jardine Matheson) and chief executive Duncan Chui (a 15 year veteran of venture capital business in Hong Kong). CPE will in particular be targeting China's "dynamic" telecommunications, media, technology and financial services sector.
